Dreaded marbles in a can???

I recently bought a Rx8 and there is a slight tick that the seller said was an exhaust leak or something from a cheap header. It fades away a bit after it warms up and just is a tapping sound. After reading about the marbles in a can problem, I am worrying if this is it. Any assistance on troubleshooting this would be greatly appreciated!

I will say, this is a very consistent sound and does not sound metallic and sounds like a valve tap or something but doesn’t seem to me to sound like a bad sound. Again, I’m new, and I don’t know, so thank y’all for any help!

I don't hear anything unusual. Not sure what the ticking is, maybe injectors, but it's normal.

Marbles in a can is heard inside the car at speed, coming approximately from behind the glovebox

Hello, if you have a cheep header fitted to the car, then there is probably contact with the firewall or subframe, the O2 sensor in the wrong position and when it hits the firewall it brakes and you get bad fuel economy.
i would look for a good exhaust shop to mod the cheep header or find a stock manifold and install that again.

hope this helps.
