Hi guys, I wanted to upload a pic of my single din Metra kit. When trying to decide to go single or double din; I couldn’t find too many single din examples on the forum as most go double din. Hopefully this can help anyone deciding between the two setups. The metra install kit came with a 1/2 din pocket which I considered pretty useless. I decided to cut the pocket and custom fit an equalizer. In terms of amps and sub. I am running the 300 watts rms alpines to the after market speakers and Old School Kicker 10 inch bazooka Stillwater design box. My goal was to not add too much weight in the rear as the box isn’t too heavy along with the small amps.
