S2 trans OR 5 speed bellhousing

I'm really wanting a 5 speed bellhousing. If anyone has one that's what I'm needing for a build I'm doing.

But I'll use a S2 manual trans if someone has one for cheap

i have a 6 speed from an 09 that had funny feeling 5th and 6th. needs work. or, if it helps you i have a 1" thick piece of bell housing that was cut off of an older 6 speed. could be used to make an "adapter" i cut it off so i could weld an adapter to the trans and bolt to a honda engine

I have an S2 6-speed in good shape. Not for cheap, but feel free to make an offer. Bay Area pickup only.

I could possibly use the 1" bellhousing. Not sure how that would play with clutch engagement

i dont know what exactly you are trying to do. if you are trying to fit a different transmission to the rotary you could possibly cut the appropriate amount off of the transmission and weld this in its place. there are a lot of reasons this may not work, but is possible. more likely you could use it as a template to make one out of aluminum plate.

the RX8 bellhousing allows changing from a pull style clutch that the earlier Mazdas had to a push style that the RX8 has.

it can be purchased new from Mazda Motorsports since they import it and consider it a race part rather than domestic OEM part. Which you need racer status to purchase domestic replacement parts, but anyone can buy “race” parts. I want to say it’s around $375 if the used one doesn’t work out.

lmk if you need assistance
.

Team, that'd exactly what I'm doing. Changing the clutch type setup. I called Ray Crowe and he wasn't able to find anything. And I called Paul at mazmart but never heard anything back. Do you have a way to get a part number to me ?
