In 2015 I participated on the German RX-8 forum with a group order for a "KKS PERFORMANCE Sport Catalyst MAZDA RX-8 200cpsi / stainless steel" as a spare catalytic converter in case my OEM catalytic converter from the 2008 RX-8 would fail prematurely.
This has not happened so far / 80,000 km; the OEM Cat is still 100 percent and I expect it to stay that way for the time to come.
The spare KKS catalytic converter (sport cat) has been in the original KKS packaging in my garage since 2015.

The KKS sport cat is/was regarded in Germany as the best and most reliable sport cat.
The KKS sales price in 2015 was € 699.00.
