Broke rx-8
I have a 06 4 speed 4 port auto rx-8 and recently when we I put it into a drive gear or even touch the accelerator the rpm drops to around 500 and the whole car shakes. What could the issue be?

recently changed coils, Leads and plugs. Has check engine light but i don’t have a scan tool and can’t take it anywhere to get checked because of the rpm drop

Did your issues start right after changing coils ect .. ? is it possible you messed up the order of the wires

OBD scanner is like $12 on amazon. I use it to read codes and then go look them up online.

You can also ask your local parts store to borrow tools. They might have a code reader they would lend to you.
