Just wondering how big this meet typically is? It’s a bit of a drive for me and was wondering if it was worth it. Also wondering about Meeting of Mazdas as an alternative if it’s bigger?

 

I don't think I've ever been to a Meeting of the Mazda's, but Rotormeet is usually pretty good. I found some pics from 2017 on the rx7 site. I think it has been postponed for a few years because of COVID so hopefully an eager turnout this year

It’s 2 completely different environments. Meeting of the Mazdas there’s hardly any rotary enthusiasts there.. mainly people who have normal 3’s or CX’s. More mundane people.
Rotormeet is for the rotary enthusiasts. A biggish turnout of all things rotary. No real day-to-day cars show up. Those usually belong to the people who are curious when they see so many FD’s and 8’s show up..
If you haven’t been, I’d recommend it.
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen everyone. The plague shutdown almost everything car related. Well overdue to catchup with people.

it was pretty good. Especially after not seeing so many of the usual suspects.
