Ok so I know many on here still stand by the Mazda only coolant. That being said it well know and documented that engine Ice has cured overheating in bikes for a long time.
Ive had great success with it in everything I’ve used it in.
So as many my 8 had a tendency to run on the hot side. So I flushed the system and replaced with it.
Now I’ve never had any issues with any type of deal or o ring with this stuff. I also called and asked. They said it’s perfectly safe for our engines.
So I’m currently on year 3 with it in my engine so I’m gonna say it’s safe and definitely safer than getting it hot during track days. My new rx8 auto is also now running it. I will try and keep everyone up to date every year. This may help many who have issues and may save a bunch of time and money.

It's not just 'Mazda Coolant', it's FL22 coolant, which is deemed 'long life'.
Older models as long as 10 years/120,000 miles.

If your reasoning is to save time and money, this ain't it.

If you don't use FL22 coolant you should flush your coolant system annually.

I understand that it’s fl-22 but commonly referred to as Mazda coolant which it indeed is not.
And yes I was simply letting people know that it indeed does help with the cooling issues these cars have and so far has not caused any issues over 3 years of use.
It indeed does need to be changed more often to keep its added cooling functions. But it’s not a big deal for me as it is non toxic and biodegradable which is the worst part of normal coolant is the hassle of dealing with it after.
I simply change mine every spring as part of an oil change or spring cleaning if you will along with my trans and diff fluid .
Just wanted to make others aware it may be worth a try and far easier than installing a different radiator. Or worse yet over heating the car on a track day or hot summer cruise.
So you are correct in everything you said this was more as a “hey this seems to work for me and has not caused issues over 3 full years of use”
It indeed cured my issues with temps creeping upward on long session track days.
