Both sides of the friction plate just exploded. This was a very early version of the BHR clutch and flywheel, I did several hard launches (probably 5) doing some logging and things didn't go well. I mean, my total experience with my RX has been less than ideal, mainly because I'm an early adopter (Emanage blue anyone?) and it's my toy and I play hard with my toys. I'm the only owner of my '04 with 64k miles, and 4 motors. But here is the kicker, I still love this car, I feel pride in knowing more about her than I probably should and that I've done most of the work on it in my garage.
Anyway, new clutch is an Exedy Hyper single stage 3. Hopefully this dude will do great things.
