Random Bearing?

This is probably a dumb question. But I figured you guys would probably know.

I recently ordered a new S2 transmission from Mazdatrix. Everything seems to be in order, I don't see any damage except for preservation oil leaking all over the place. But there's a random bearing I found in the box, but I don't see where it could belong to the transmission, meaning I don't think it fell out. Anyone know what the mystery bearing is supposed to be?

So pretty.

No idea what this goes to.

Got to be a throw out bearing.
Good that the trans is well lubricated.
My trans came with plugs to keep the residual oil in place.
Make less of a mess that way.

I asked Mazdatrix, and they said they have no clue what it is. Hmm.

Part of throw-out bearing, outer casing came off. IMO.

Huh...didn't realize the transmission came with a throw out bearing. I thought that was part of the clutch assembly.
