I am brand new to this forum, but looking to help out some folks in another. I have a 1975 BMW 2002, and am looking to swap in an rx8 transmission. Any help that you can lend me in terms of getting a transmission would be greatly appreciated. I am in Toronto, so any place within a 1-2 hour drive would be great. I am not looking for something fancy, just a good well-functioning unit.

It is my understanding that there are two styles of transmissions, one with a smaller case, and one with a larger one. Either will work, just so that it comes from an RX8.
