What is a "stage 2 flywheel" ?

The answer, I'm pretty sure, is that there's no such thing. Still, I'm looking at the Facebook Marketplace ad from last summer of the 2004 RX8 that I bought, and it references a "stage 2 lightweight flywheel.".So I'm trying to decipher what this COULD mean. A lightweight flywheel with a stage 2 clutch maybe? I know they're often packaged together. Or does a stage 2 flywheel actually mean something to someone?

It means the seller doesn't know what they're talking about
Possible they had a lightened flywheel?

Well i believe that. Surprising because he does work in a garage. But he’s also like 18. Previous owner (the one before him) used to autocross it so I’m trying to put the pieces together. What flywheel/clutch combo would an experienced autcrosser likely put in there? I know it’s all guesswork but something got lost in translation between the last two owners.

It is the flywheel upgrade you get in video games? So for an 18yo, that means it is fire or something.

Im guessing it was a "stage2" clutch with a flywheel. Afaik theres no "stages" with flywheels only less weight. And you resurface/replace flywheel when doing a clutch change/upgrade anyways.
