What has become somewhat a tradition ( with me ) on this site - I post a pic of the R3 coming out of winter hibernation. Today was the day. She is out of storage and in the garage at the moment awaiting an oil change. Spring has sprung. Be safe be smart to all my fellow rotarians
My R3 and I are both in hibernation, I did bring it out of the garage yesterday and washed it, then back in the garage for clay. I’ll take photos and post once it is polished and waxed.

I am waiting on a couple things to arrive in the mail before I can finish polishing and waxing it. Today I took of the cat midpipe, Shall work on getting the catback off tomorrow. Just wanted to take it off and see if I could run a 3" all the way but use the factory muffler. My car is stock, so nothing out of the ordinary to look at, but I hope to be done with the exterior in a couple of days after my package arrives.

Reason: By couple of days, I meant a couple of months
This is a very special edition, one of a kind R3. It has 75k km on the clock. I hate that 🌲 in the background, it won’t leave my vehicles clean. My Mazda Bongo Friendee lifting up on its front wheel to photobomb! Crazy bugger that one...
If you look carefully you can see subtle differences from a regular R3. It has a one off 3-rotor engine. Two under the hood and one usually on the driver seat. A lot of care has been taken in driving it on gravel roads to create a barrage of rock chips on the front facia. It kissed a deer in the second month of its life too, you can’t say that about most R3s. Recently it tried running with a loose coolant hose clamp and ate the coolant seal. Bravely it ran to Calgary and back without a hiccup. Still runs except for a few misfires when initially started up. Now awaiting rebuild.
I’m new to the site and to ownership - bought my 2010 mid-June. Don’t expect to have this as a garage Queen for at least 8 more years. There’s 14 yr old twins in the house to get through university. Wrong tax bracket.
Been having a great time with the car tinkering and driving. Hope to not be in Dodo23’s shoes for awhile yet. I know a rebuild is in my future, just want to push it off.
I am assuming you love the pilot sport 4s since it is top tier summer tire?
I was thinking of getting a set of hankook ventus v12 since it's a bargain and tirerack says it's one of the best performance street tires. I'd get the 4s if they weren't over $250 per tire.
tires are your feedback with car and road. it is the number one performance enhancement you can make. dont approach this purchase with ' how ******* cheap can I be". Get the correct tire for your driving habits and quit worrying about 1 or 2 hundred bucks. Do it right

No crud. I know this. But if tirerack tells me the Hankook is going to perform equally as the Pilot Sport 4s with regard to grip only then I am going to get the cheaper one.
maybe try to not to take the “how foul mouthed I can be” approach too, not sure why people feel like f-bombs are appropriate in public conversation now. Social media has brainwashed you on multiple levels.
