So I poked around with what else you've been buying. Wanted to offer some help. The strut brace from an R3 is the same as from a regular series 2. Its simply there in order to hold up the engine cover. I thought it actually was of a good design from stock, except when I replaced it with a mazdasped one. That's when you realize that it really didn't do anything special It has no other purpose then that. I would suggest skipping it completely and buying a mazdaspeed strut tower bar. If you still want one you can have one of the 2 I have for the shipping cost. To me it's trash.
