Delrin Subframe Bushings

Looking for delrin bushings for the front and rear subframes to stay legal for SCCA TT Prepped Class.

The Sikky Aluminum ones are nice but put me in Max.

Anyone know if these can be had off the shelf somewhere?

There are no front subframe bushings on an RX8. It bolts directly to the chassis. I’m not aware of anyone making them for the rear except in aluminum. I had a set of SpeedSource solid rear aluminum bushings that I used to build a set of polymer bushings for my car, but I gave them to John to use in his SM build thinking I’d never need to make another set. Getting some OE or aftermarket aluminum bushings and making your own is likely your only choice.

Thanks for the info Team.
Perhaps there is someone out there who made 2 sets or would be willing to make one more, if they saved the specs.

@TeamRX8 ,
Did you save notes from the SpeedSource solid rear aluminum bushings that you used to build the set of polymer bushings?
I might go the build versus buy route for mine.

@MilesJ ,
If you replace your Sikky Aluminum ones, let me know. I may be interested in buying them.

No notes, but let me double-check on whether I actually sent them or not. My memory isn’t so great these days.

Old thread, but for the sake of future google searches, RX8Performance sells Delrin and Polyurethane differential mount bushings.

the original question was for “subframe” bushings, entirely different thing

Aluminum rear subframe bushings are available from Sikky

https://www.sikky.com/product/rx8-subframe-bushing-set/

some JDM companies offer something similar
.

Have any developments been made by chance on this front? I'd love some delrin rear subframe bushings.

@TeamRX8 did you ever find note/dimensions on the aluminum ones? I know John, btw, he has yours installed. hah
