Hello,

I sold my RX8 a few years ago and found the roof racks I had for it when I was clearing out the garage.

I had the cross bar cut short so that it is flush with the base attachment (means it will only fit other cars that are the same width or more narrow than an RX8).

They are in really good condition because I only put them on when I was heading to the beach to surf, otherwise they were in the garage.

I have 2 keys as well as 4 additional lock cores in case you want to add other Rhino Rack components and use the same key for all. The original manual and the removal tool is also included. Takes less than a minute to take on and off.

Asking $300 or best offer. I am located in Torrance, CA.

Is the roof rack still available? Could it hold a 45 lb kayak?

 

I have a pending sale, but if it falls through I will let you know. 45lbs won't be a problem. See the above link where it shows the rating at 165lbs. I've put multiple boards on it, probably around 25lbs without any issues.
