MAZDA ENDS ROAD TO INDY

I wondered why this took so long, don't these open wheeler's use Mazda MZR Turbo 4 Cylinder Engines?....really a Ford Engine licensed to Mazda when Ford had a stake in Mazda, like all MZR Engines used from 2003-2011 (roughly), MZR engines used before the now Mazda designed and made Skyactiv engines first used in the all new CX-5.

 

I've noticed very low numbers in the indy lights this year as well. Between the race I attended at Road America and a few others I've seen on tv, I believe they only have 7 running this year.
