Yea i had some dumb drunk driver pull out in front of me. I had no chance to slow down and hit him going around 50. He had no insurance. But its kool I got the money and will be getting another one in like a week.

at least now u know the car is quite good at protecting the occupants

 

the bad thing about the whole thing is look where they parked my rx-8 by... a freaking mini van wtf over

 

how'd u get the money if the bastard doesn't have insurance?

the crumple zones tooks the brunt of the force and the passenger compartment is largely untouch...that is a good thing.

 

Yeah I was going to say those crumple zones crumpled perfectly.

Damn 50MPH? Hate to say it but that is fantastic, look at how intact your car is, and the fact that you didn't post about injuries sustained.

Glad you are OK, I know I was sore as hell for 3 days after my last auto accident.

 

Yeah only thing that I had happened to me where my wrists. I had a death grip on the steering wheel. But other than that I was surprised that I didnt get hurt worse and the cop said that also.

Glad you are OK. What are you doing with the stock wheels? Are they OK? Do you have the priviledge to sell them?? I know a member that needs two, he banged his on a curb today.

I feel your pain man, I just had the same thing happen to me in FEB with my old car. You should try and buy the car back from the insurance (trust me they will give it to you CHEAP) and then sell all the parts on here, I made a killing selling the parts to my banged up cougar, even the stock parts will see, you will be amazed!!!!!
