Find somebody with a 3d printer? Maybe find somebody to help you with a design for Thingiverse and then have somebody make it for you?

There will probably be some finishing work to make it look nice and you'll want to use ABS or nylon instead of PLA (with gets all melty when it gets hot).

I used some generic panel clips to hold them together. Info here: https://www.rx8club.com/series-ii-in...-seats-220100/

Ok, I didn't realize you meant they were completely missing. I think I actually have a spare rear right insert, still new in packaging. I bought it, then realized they were all broke and decided to find a way to fix them instead of buying all new ones. If it is one of the ones you need let me know I can give you a good price on it.

Was the design ever shared online? I have a 3D printer but would prefer to not have to CAD if there's a good design available.

I don't understand why some of these break?? What are you guys doing to your seats to have this happen?
Mine look brand new. Never had to do anything other than cleaning them... Weird..

Sure, but the forums do send email alerts sometimes. There was a chance he might see something.

I wish good 3D scanners were more readily available. These things that are made of complex shapes would be easier to capture and modify as needed.

I think they're just a bad design. RXes are not engineered for bigger/taller guys. I've had problems with many of them in subtle ways (like the mirror being too low), so maybe those of us who are taller and bigger lean on the back of the seat more? Dunno.

Oohhh.. yes, that's right.. sorry about that.. I keep forgetting everyone is taller than I am.

Probably why I don't have any issues since I'm standard Japanese height (no, I'm not Japanese, but South Americans aren't exactly tall people either.. )

Sucks you taller folk have issues with the seats... I love them. They fit me to a tee..
