Are there any RX-8’s running in PWC anymore?
Are there any RX-8’s running in Pirelli World Challenge anymore? If not, why so? Was the car no longer competive? Rule changes? Age? Or did the NC and now ND MX-5 just take over?

Usually you get only three years after a model is being sold, that a race car (based on that model )can still be entered (by rules) in some sports car series . 2012 was last year that Mazda sold new RX8s in the US (actually remaining 2011 models in the US).
This is why winning Speedsource RX8s were pulled from IMSA, even before the three years was up.
