Engine/Trans value

I'm looking at swapping out my 2010 engine and 6 speed (with <50k miles, running fine) and would like to list them in the FS forum, but have no idea what their value is.

Having read the posting rules I know I need to list a price; can anyone give me an idea of what they are worth?

If you get compression numbers prior to removing it and they are solid, then you could get $2000.00 or so depending on what you are including (full "long block" versus "shortblock").

But without compression numbers you would have to be stupid to buy a used Renesis IMO unless you are buying strictly for a rebuild and even then it is risky unless you get it really cheap as I have seen many people end up with useless boat anchors.
