Just registered, got an e-mail under my name...from someone else?
I just registered for these forums about 5-10 minutes ago. I also just recieved an e-mail, from "myself" saying that the person was logged in as me, and I should check it out.
Odd? Disconcerting? Just a bit...

This is a known issue. This is a response from one of the admins:
"Still working on it. Looks like new members awaiting e-mail confirmation are in limbo. Regular members are picking up their user names when posting."

A vbb glitch. Only happens when new members are waiting in queue for e-mail addy confirmation. It's irritating for all of us, but we had to implement "e-mail verify" to keep trolls from re-registering repeatedly after username banning.

By the way, I was the one that sent it, It was weird for me to open the page and saw I was logged in as someone, My accout is up and running now, and I deleted the cookies related to your nick, hope that clears it up for you.
