E shaft and rotors differences between Automatic and Manual

Using manual e shaft and rotors instead of the original automatic e shaft and rotors. I don't see any variable difference in application. Can this be done or am I making a huge mistake?

I'm not an engine builder, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I believe the majority of the differences are in the intake manifolds and the housings themselves. The internals should be identical.
