2017 Honda Civic Type R Photos and Info: It's Headed to the U.S.! | News | Car and Driver
I wondered if there was a place for another front wheel drive, hot turbocharged pocket-rocket. I guess Honda thinks there is a place, minus any new Mazdaspeed3 GT on the horizon .

So it's almost Focus RS price but steer wheel drive... I don't get it. Also don't get who the market for any of these cars at 35k+ USD is. #backinmyday hot hatches were supposed to be affordable by young people. And this styling seems to confirm that's the target. I guess young people have more money these days :/
My buddy bought a Focus RS and got rid of it two weeks later (still made a profit). Like most things Ford, it left a lot to be desired. Hondas are gross now days and it's sad.
What were the Top 5 negatives that made his sell it so fast. My passenger ride in the RS was phenomenal and reminded me of being in a passenger seat of the RX8 back in 2005. It is Ford like on the interior - it would be hard for me to plunk down hard earned $$$ to get the crappy of an interior. The RX8 has/had better feel than the new RS.

It's all about the car.

Well he daily drives an Audi S8 so to him it felt slow and he hated how loud and harsh it was (to be expected I know). For me it just didn't feel all that fast and it was very buzzy to me as well, as is almost every high HP 4. It was a great car, just not worth the entry price IMO.
But it's all subjective. All I ever read and heard from ST owners was how the ST felt like a RWD car and when I got to beat on one, it had as much torque steer as my turbo Civic had. The fancy electronics and LSD only go so far on a high power FWD car.
