I still have my 8 today. I baby it and try to put on as few miles as possible but since I'm approaching 100k, I think my time with it is getting limited. It's quite a shame since it is such a fun a capable sports car. Yea it may be under powered but coupled with a decent driver it still can keep up with more modern vehicles.

Very cool - thanks for sharing. I think that's the first time I've seen cars do the dog-leg rather than run the Kink. I love RA, been there many times, definitely more suited to the high-HP cars with those long straights.

 

I really want to get my 8 out there on RA. I haven't raced at Road America since NASA was there last. I think this year I'll be aiming to hit at least one HPDE there and see how much faster my RX8 is versus my H2 Honda Civic.

Awesome seeing how many locals actually make their way to the circuits around us!

 

Jake, John, are you guys going to be a RA on July 15-16? I will be there with my slow street driven, not much racy about it, RX8. LOL.

 

I'll definitely be there. I'm still breaking in the new(est) engine, so I'll be very slow. Just looking to log as many low-RPM miles on the engine as I can before beating on it.
