Does anyone know when the dealer replaces the tanaka passenger air bar in my 2011 RX8 if the cracked cover over the airbag is replaced at the same time??


Also has anyone tried Flexseal spray on these cracks to see if it will work?

No the cover is not replaced when the airbag is replaced. Mazda 3 and Honda Accord both did not get replaced. This cover is a non-essential part and is cosmetic.

 

I have verified that Mazda will not replace the cover during the airbag recall...


And I asked the Mazda Service guy to quote me on the dash airbag cover so while they were in there they could replace it AND THE PRICE THE PART IS $1400!!!


YES that's one thousand four hundred dollars from Ocean Mazda in Miami

 

Has anybody tried the Flexseal solution on a cracked dash yet????
