WE ARE TRYING TO GET ANOTHER VANCOUVER MEET GOING>
please post or pm myself, Hitmann, Rotary Titus, or Fietguy if you are interested easiest way is to post here, but please, we want toget as many as possible.

I was thinking for a meeting place, the parking area at metrotown mall, or the one on the sears side, closest to metrotown, the first mainly because, it gives us a nice chance to show off, as well, its usually pretty empty in the early part of the day, ie, around noon or before.

Then, a drive through stanley park, via downtown, robson, some pics in the park, me and p3rd found a nice place, as long as they dont give us **** for parking on grass.

then getting a consensus on where to eat, and depending on peoples ideas or prior engagements, maybe a run up the Sea to Sky again, or if there are any other nice areas to go, suggestions and feedback on this idea would be great, maybe we could even all go out to the mission speedway to make a nice show of the 8, please reply and let me know if this is good, or subject to change, pardon my randomness, i just got off work, and need sleep soon, hehe

but im putting a vote in for meeting either on the "Wesside" or Richmond, Inconsquential is coming from Richmond, RT and are coming from the West...so it makes sense....afterwards we can go anywhere...

by that time, my ride may be sporting some new rims....top secret at the moment though

 

cool, Wakeech and I came up with an idea too, thinking of going karting, dunno where its at, hopefully he will post info to see if that will help spark some interest, as well, we trying to come up with a logo so we can get an identity incase you all want to make it an actual club, was thinking along the idea of a rotar symbol with a maple leaf in the center, was also gonna ask a friend if he can make vinyls in colors like what polak did, so we can match to our cars, but we can all discuss these ideas when we get together too
He is gonna try to come up with some ideas and show them tomorrow, so, any ideas on a design, please, post them

i dont think we should make a big deal out of where we meet if your scared of spending 2 dollars on gas than go grab a squigee and save up

i say we meet somewhere where we can show and go you know what i mean ? show them off and than go get some things done...

Lol, Hitman, hes just giving his opinion, but, one thought would be, how does everybody feel about the karting idea? if enough like it, then I would suggest metting in Richmond due to the fact that it is closest to it, alos, whiterock isnt too far from there, you got lots of highway, hehehe

Well, we know we live all over the area, but regardless of where we live, we are gonna end up going for a drive to find some nice scenery, so, we have a couple of ideas on what to do, lets hear your opinion on which you prefer, Stanley Park, going Karting, or night time at mission?

ummm... May 15 or 16, trying to see if we can get a majority vote, that way we can get the most possible turnout

hehe, maybe we should just make this a poll to see which day fits best, but it seems that most people are saying that either is good for them.

Wakeech, can you check out the business hours for the Karts, in case this is the option taken, and if it is, we should book a time for it, that way we can get in easily
But, I think maybe Saturday would be best, so no one has to worry about work the next day, or school, or anything of that matter.

Sooooo.... I guess it will be May 15th then, if anyone objects, please speak now or forever hold your rotary!

lol, hey Wakeech, if we get a design ready, I might be able to get a few samples knocked off real quick, cuz I gotta go get my alarm fixed tomorrow, bloody proximity sensor isnt going off, so, need to get it checked.
Dunno if anyone has gone to BoyzClub before, but that is where I got my alarm, and LED's done, I am gonna try to talk to them about the possibility of giving us better rates, kinda let them know how many people we can get down there if they treat us good, hehe, so, I will let you know how that option goes tomorrow

 

i got a buddy at visions who hooked me up with the viper pager for 400 installed

all options included proximity sensoors on low cuz it kept going off

 

Which viper though? the 2.5? or which one?

 

i dunno it has a blue pager alarm

 

So, looks so far like we have about 8 or so people, hopefully we can get more too, so, keep p/m ing us, or post here, and let us know whats up, and if you have any ideas to throw in the mix too

 

i went paintballing at big shots in tswwassen and it wsas really cool
how about we go there as a group its a good fun highway drive and we can get it done in about 2 horus and it will let us all fight together agianst others

 

Man this is so weird.. I'm going paintballing there next weekend myself, and was worried about leaving my baby unattented there =D

just the driving o nthe gravel road was going 8 kmh but still scrape my car once in the middle try to drive on the grass as much as possible or if u can dont take it lots of DUST

Quick thing im hoping everyone has ordered a t shirt since i dont have the ***** to put the rx8 club on my car i bought a shirt which i will be wearing to the meet.. im hoping we get more guys wearing the shirts u know cuz we are like so cool


they're not t shirts but they are high grade 100% cotton which just adds to the cool factor

Yeah.. the thought of up-ended gravel along with the chips/nicks..... yeah don't think I'll be driving the 8 to Tsawassan.

Hitmann... not sure how the whole paintball thing works (it'll be my first time). We've got a rather large first-timers party going..
