Hey all,

So I'm not actually a new member.. been on here for many years just never posted anything.. ever.. always been on the .au site or whatever I used to use in the UK.

I thought I'd at least post an intro, being the polite chap that I am ;p

And not a new owner either actually.. I'm on my 4th, with two in the garage at the moment.. the first was a lease and that gave me the bug.. the second was my UK road and track car, only parted with it because I moved over to Australia.
Now I'm in Oz and I have a BP road registered RX8 and a second one that is about to get a REW transplant to be used as a track toy..

Anyhow, hope to enjoy the site and continue to learn from our shared experience!

Welcome.

There are several folk in the expert category in your part of the world. Look up Ash8 if you need Oz specific stuff. Also would help the share a little more detail on exactly where you are. is a big place

Good point, i forget that some times, I'm in Sydney.. not too bad a joint though I miss the access I had to all the race tracks in the UK

This one is in Lichtenstein, one of the worlds smallest countries, known at that time as a finance powerhouse (i.e. tax haven) and.. it's export of false teeth.. I kid you not!

Then we moved to Australia and had to leave the grey one behind..

So we got this one.. with a blown motor.. but luckily I had swapped my grey one for a fresh built bridge port before I left the UK so I happened to have a spare motor to drop in.. cause that's normal, right?


(EDIT: I should have said, mine's the red one..)

I've only just recently got my hands on it so much to be done.. The Reni is coming out, I have a REW on the way, it'll be caged and dedicated for the track.. Much work and hilarity to ensue..
