So I am importing my LHD (UK) RX-8 to RHD (EU), and everything is fine, except for the headlights. They are shining into the opposite lane, which is not allowed.

Alright, so I need to switch from the british to the european headlights, which isn't so much of a problem. But I would have to buy new headlights for a couple of hundred bucks, and they need to have the european homologation, so I can't just convert my original ones.

I found 2 sets of headlights. One normal for 200 euro, and the xenon for 350 euro.
Right now I have xenon lights, as they came from the factory, and I want to buy normal headlights, and convert these normal headlight to xenon headlights by using the xenon equipment from my old headlights. Is that possible, and how much effort and time would it take? It could save me 150 euro.
