I've never really paid attention to it being different then everyone elses until someone on the rx8clubs facebook page commented on my pic of the rear of the car...but mine is shaped a little different and has a brake light in it so I have 4 brake lights.... Anyone else have this spoiler or is this some aftermarket one a previous owner installed before I owned it. I haven't been able to find any pics of the same spoiler on other cars...

Yeah not stock. Don't know why someone would put that on.. Cause it looks kind of similar (But a little worse looking, no offense).

Its strange that it would not be mounted flush on each side. It seems as though it could have been made as an aftermarket add on for the 8, but if so, why the brake light in the spoiler? The 8 already has the third brake light? Perhaps it was made for a different car but the previous owner installed it because the width of it was close.

I want to say that may be a GTO spoiler. I am not 100% sure though.

 

It's not a GTO spoiler, just something that fit I am sure.

 

Looks like a Subaru Impreza spoiler (the non-basket-handle one). I had one on my old 2.5 RS....
