I've talked to some shops, and a few have mentioned Bridgeporting.

I would love this, but I was wanting info on using rx7 housings.

MazdaTrix did this, would I see any advantages, if I kept it non turbo. I have a fd and although I want more power out of my 8, I'd like to stay n/a and maybe hit 250 hp

so you want 5 exhaust ports, or you want to block off the side exhaust ports?

Mazdatrix did it one time. The car was retired. If it was that good of an idea, don't you think they would have done more with it?

You want to add/change the exhaust ports, but you don't want to flow more air (I.e not forced induction).

The six port rx8 is an incredibly efficient air pump. At some times, it has greater than 100% volumetric efficiency. Greater than 100%!!! That's as good as it gets, my friend.

Also, it is incredibly hard to get more than 215whp on NA. It just doesn't happen easily

In New Zealand PPRE have done a few 6 port bridge ports over the last few months and they've been reported to gain about 30whp, so seeing about 225whp roughly. Mpg is terrible, so you'll be filling up with gas at every chance you get. It sounds sick though - nice pulsing at idle.

Too early at this stage to tell how long the motor will last.

The car was wrecked on track. Not exactly my definition of retired. More like Killed in Action. Owner reported great feedback up until the crash

nope. not the drift car. I believe Motoiq had the last article on it. at the end of the article they noted it's untimely demise due to an off at the track that demolished the car

The Renesis is incredibly restricted due to the exhaust ports. That is well documented.

Also WHP can change based on the dyno you use, type of gas, etc. So using it as an overall performance indicator isn't a great idea. unless you are at a dyno day and have some baseline 8's running at the same time.
