BUYERS: I suggest you avoid dealing with Mike Barbosa. He advertised an rx8 engine core for sale which I agreed to buy. I sent him paypal payment for $400 on 4-20 and also documents for shipping. All he had to do was either a) drop the shipment off at the carrier or 2) call and have it picked up. After multiple conversations and excuses, it has never been shipped, and he stopped communicating. I filed a paypal non receipt dispute and later upgraded it to a claim after a few days of no communication. It's now been almost another week since I filed the claim and he has not responded to it. I still have no engine and no refund.

 

paypal finally closed the claim and refunded me. The rep stated that Mike never responded to the claim and that he did not voluntarily issue the refund...paypal did it.
