I think there is definitely a need for a thread like this. Let's get an idea of who is in the area and plan something out. I'd like to get an idea of how many people in the area would be interested in a meet.

Yeah, I saw that thread, but I wanted a separate thread to get an idea of who is in the area and when we could have a larger meet. Plus I though it would be awkward meeting at a bar since I'm 18 lol

 

I won't be drinking alcohol (I don't at all), so probably not as awkward as you are guessing.

 

It's also a restaurant, you don't have to be 18.
I may have one or two drinks.

Anywhere is fine with me. I haven't been to Saddlers indoor go karts in a couple years, but that's in Olathe, KS. Some food works also. With you being out in St. Joe I guess somewhere in KC or maybe even Zonarosa would be best. If there's not enough people we could just piggyback into another meet from some of the other car clubs in the area. Street Car Takeover is Friday, May 16th "starting at 5pm" in Blue Springs which should have hundreds of cars. I know I'll be there if anybody else is game to show.

 

I was looking into that streetcar takeover thing because that sounds like a pretty good time, but all I found was that they're going to be in st Louis on the 22nd and won't be in kc till July 10 or something.
