SUNCOAST HOTEL AND CASINO: 9090 ALTA DRIVE, LAS VEGAS, NV
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
FRIDAY MAY 8TH
REGISTER AND CART RACING
WHERE: MARQUEE PARKING LOT OF THE SUNCOAST HOTEL & CASINO (BY THE BIG SIGN)
TIME FOR REGISTERING: 3PM UNTIL 8PM IN THE MARQUEE LOT, CONTINUING SATURDAY FROM 7AM UNTIL 10AM.
If your planning on Cart racing or partying on Friday evening, it may be a good idea to get your car registered on Friday. There will be several categories depending upon the cars registered prior to the event. Repus, old school, 7's and 8's will be judged separately. 7s may be broken up into fist, second and third gen vehicles if preregistration shows a sufficient number of vehicles. All registered rotary vehicles will be eligible for trophies.
CARS AND TRAILERS CAN BE LEFT IN THE LOT OVERNIGHT - SECURITY WILL KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THE AREA
FRIDAY EVENING CART RACING
Location of cart racing will be available at the signup table
SATURDAY MAY 9th
CONTINUE TO REGISTER
REGISTRATION FROM 7AM UNTIL 11AM ONLY
FINAL JUDGING
CAR JUDGING WILL START AT 8AM AND CONTINUE UNTIL 11AM
ANNUAL CRUISE
THE CRUISE WILL START AT 12 NOON AND SHOULD LAST UNTIL 3PM. YOU WILL BE SUPPLIED MAPS OF THE ROUTE AND THE CRUISE WILL BE LEAD BY A MEMBER OF SIN CITY ROTARY AND WILL START IN THE MARQUEE LOT OF THE SUNCOAST AND RETURN THE THE SAME LOT.
RAFFLE AND TROPHY AWARDS
THE RAFFLE WILL BEGIN AT 4PM AND LAST UNTIL THE LAST ITEM IS GIVEN OUT. AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE RAFFLE, THE TROPHY WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AND THE TROPHIES AWARDED.
SATURDAY NIGHT PARTY
THERE WILL BE A SATURDAY NIGHT GET TOGETHER IN THE SUITE AT THE SUNCOAST. ALL ATTENDEES ARE INVITED AND WILL START AT 8PM AND WILL END AT 11:59PM. WHiV8 WILL FURNISH CHIPS, DIPS, ETC. BUT THIS IS A BYOB AFFAIR
FOOD IS AVAILABLE 24/7 IN THE HOTEL RESTAURANTS
SUNDAY MAY 10th
SCENIC CRUISE
A SHORT SCENIC CRUISE WILL LEAVE SUNCOAST MARQUEE PARKING LOT AT 11AM. DETAILS OF THE CRUISE WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE MEET AND MAPS GIVEN OUT
ANNUAL BARBECUE

ALL THE NORMAL FOOD AS IN PAST YEARS WILL BE AVAILABLE.

Prior to cut-off date, individuals are encouraged to book their reservations on-line. To receive your special group rate members will need to enter the assigned Reservation ID: A5MZC05 through the Hotel’s website at Group Reservations
Should you prefer to use the phone, a direct call to 866-636-7111 and identify yourself as a member of the Mazda Group and use A5MZC05 as the ID number.
Due to a lot of things going on in Las Vegas the rates are not as low as what we have been previously able to secure, but this property has a great deal to offer from the pools, movie theaters, bowling and other activities as well as other stuff within walking distance. If golfing is your thing there are courses just a couple of minutes away as can be seen from some of the rooms

The club up here died about four or five years ago. What was left got folded-into the local rotary club. They are on Facebook now, but I don't do Facebook so have no idea what's going-on with them anymore. But the days of the 8 have come and gone. It was incredible fun while it lasted, now it's just me and my 8.

The club up here died about four or five years ago. What was left got folded-into the local rotary club. They are on Facebook now, but I don't do Facebook so have no idea what's going-on with them anymore. But the days of the 8 have come and gone. SLC Rotary is still going strong. We actually have a BBQ happening this Sunday 6/12. You should come join us! I've added an 8 to my collection now. I only get on facebook to keep involved with the car events.
