MN Just bought my 8 with 75,000mi

I just got my 2008 Mazda Rx8 and it currently has about 75,000 miles on it. I did my research before buying and I know the car often has issues around this point in its lifetime. I just wanted to know what I should look out for in the near future!

Definitely not the most responsible car to spend any amount of money on, but welcome!

ditto, get that compression test first to know the real health of your engine before working on other issues for a used RX8. Welcome.

Just bought the neighbors '04 RX8 and got introduced to a "no-start" issue myself. I got lucky in that it was the 120A main fuse and nothing serious. Looks like there are lots of potential electrical & fuel issues that you'll just have to keep your eye on although it sounds like if you pull the routine maintenance when it's needed you'll be just fine! Have fun!
