I am selling my 2006 RX8 GT 6 speed with 98,000 miles on it. The engine, cat and clutch was replaced by the dealer @ 77,725 miles, so I have about 22,000 miles on the engine.

In the last year I have replaced the following items:
Brakes, including rotors, slotted and drilled
Shocks/Struts
Battery
Ignition coils
Spark Plugs
Spark plug wires
transmission oil
differential oil

I put a new set of tires on it in October.

The car looks good and runs good. I get compliments on it all the time. Its a daily driver for me four days of the week. Mechanically its in good shape, but it does have some cosmetic issues like minor road rash on the front end, minor dings and scratches, passenger side dash is cracked over the airbag.

The car has a MazdaSpeed CAI and blue LED interior lights.

I also use the Idemitsu pre-mix oil in the gas each time I fill up.

I am asking $7,800 for it.

Do you like the look of the blue interior lights? I just got an '06 BB about 6 weeks ago and am considering the blue LED's....didn't know if it was overkill.

Yes, I do like the blue interior lights. It's definitely not overkill. Everybody that has seen mine really like them. Thanks for your comments.

 

I just put a new set of tires on it and had it aligned. I also had them check out the front end while it was on the lift and everything looked good. The ball joints and tie rods were nice and tight.

 

I'm lowering the price to $8,900.

 

I just replaced the clutch throwout bearing last week and I'm lowering the price to $8,400.

 

I'm lowering the price to $8,000. It's a really nice car for that price.
