Hey guys!

I was wondering what your guys window tints are, if you have them applied. I currently have 15%/20% on my rears, and 50% on my front, but I was thinking about possibly going 35% on the fronts.

That being said, I was wondering if anybody can post a picture of their Velocity Red with 15%/20% rears with a 35% on fronts, or 20% all around so I can see what it looks like.

my rear is 5% sides are 15 % iirc and theres an 8" strip of 5% across the top of my windshield.

 

I made the same mistake getting 50% on my doors.If I could do it all over again I would of went 20% all around.

 

15% doors + back, 5% suns trip

 

Most states legal limit is 35% and the front cannot have anything below the ÄS-1 line (about 3" down from the top)

I'm still debating on doing my tints, but I once had an '88 CRX Si with 20% on evry window (to include th ewindshield all the way down) and it looked badass!

 

FWIW,

The car is hard to see out of anyway. My rears are fairly dark (whatever is legal in Florida) with the fronts about 20% lighter. The biggest win was the clear film on the windshield. It cut heat dramatically. A pretty car you cannot see out of at night will soon be a bent car. But, my eyes are old, I am old, so it many not be the same for you.

 

Nebraksa legal is 35% front and 20% rear.
It's plenty dark besides I want to be able to see at night.
I wonder how hard is it to tint the windshield with clear film. It feels like a green house in the summer.
