Ok so when i start my car. and pull into D. a 1 Appears. kinda like I'm driving stick. well thats kinda weird to me and all. but then again. not long I've been driving 8's. so as I'm driving It seems to be having problems shifting. and then. The AT Light comes on. once that happens and i come to a full stop the TCS light come and the 1 Disappears. and the engine feels like its stuck in a high gear. (Safe mode) takes off slow. but picks up speed soon. as it reaches its gear. any idea whats going on?

 

there is a sensor were the shift linkage on the trans goes thru forgot the name of it but that has gone bad on your trans.we race a 4 speed auto and had the same issue and that was the problem the sensor is large square looking thing they are new from mazda around 95 bucks.if you need more hel just email me usedcarpartss@aol.com after racing a 4 speed auto at 4 different tracks you learn alot lol
