Slammed And Fitted Thread

With the death of the old thread tiltmode43 started "Aggressive Wheel Fitment Thread," I feel like there isn't really a place for the stanced rx8 community to share their fitment and ask for advice etc. What went wrong was people complaining about their view of what "Fitment" and "Stance" is. If you're lowered at all and have aftermarket wheels feel free to post in this thread and get some feedback. There will not be any complaining about if someone isn't low enough or their offset isn't low enough. Welcome all fitted 8's.

Yes I know I have fake Te37, they will be changing once I am finished College. And yes the stickers have been removed from my wind shield!

I almost went with te37 reps. In fact I'm debating on trading these for 19" reps. Looks good though

A few things I need to lower the rear about 1 inch and just dial it all in. and of course paint my gas cap. I switched back to stock, just had to see what aluminum would look like. have a few more upgrades in the making as well.

When you guys went low. Have any of you had front wheel alignment problems? Mine steers to the left if my steering wheels is centered. I haven't driven it sinc and want to take it to a wheel shop, but can this be done by one's self?

Here's mine.

Go get an alignment if you haven't yet I'm positive that's your problem. Mine drives straight as an arrow. Side note, car looks really good and I love those wheels

^ actually its funny you bring this up. Before getting my coilovers and aligntment went over a huge pothole which scrwwed my alightnment and steering. So i got coilovers on and got an alignment straightened it alot better. But its off maybe by like 5 degrees. Not much but still. Not sure if it has to do with me being lowered.

Well, I finally drove the car three days ago and it felt like I was dragging a trailer at the rear. I'll defenitely have to bring it in for alignment. Looking at the rears closely, now that the springs have settled, the left rear wheels were toed-in, the rear of the car was moving to the right which made the car steer to the left if I center the steering wheel. Not obvious in the pictures but it was when I look at it.

UPDATE: I just got back from adjusting the alignment. Anyway, this is what I found tonight.

Left Total Toe-in was close to the max(I probably adjusted it without knowing while I was tightening bolts/nuts to preload).

Compared to the right which I assume is the factory setting.

Dialed it in to a setting I feel am comfortable and now the car drives smooth and straight again.
