R3 / S2 Brakes on S1

Will this work? Also, are the brakes any different? Aren't R3 brakes brembos?

nope, same brakes. you should be fine.

Oh, same brake calipers on all 3 versions? Well never mind me going crazy trying to find replacements.

R3 just had slightly lower springs and slightly stiffer shocks .... as far as performance differences go. Other than those two things, it was all cosmetic.

stiffer swaybars too, but they screwed the pooch with 19" wheels and making it heavier than the early S1 base Sport models not to mention the excessive financial surcharge
