need help check engine light flashing

Hey it wont let me post anywhere else heres my issuse

I have a 2010 rx8 this happend to me twice I was driving in the rain and got on it spun thru first shifted to second still spining and my check engine l ght started flashing whats that mean I read its misfire but not sure only have 16k just curious what it is thanks!

A FLASHING CEL IS ALWAYS A MISFIRE!!!
Don't believe me? Check the list of CEL codes from the OEM documentation. The 3 misfire codes are the only ones that have "flash" in the column about what to do with the CEL.

That link has a full list of what are all the common things that can cause a misfire to work through.
