Hello all, I am new to the forum, but I have referenced this page multiple times in the past for solutions to issues, all of which were resolved by this site.

I recently installed a kenwood double din stereo with the metra dash conversion kit. Everything works fine except the dash lights. The problem I am having is when I switch my lights on, the green light indicator does not light up, nor does the color change over to deep red and blue. The dash stays white as if the lights were not switched on. Following that issue, my heater does not work. The A/C blows cold, but will not blow heat when switched over. Any info and help will be greatly appreciated.

Misc stereo info: Kenwood DDX370 Double DIN. 2004 RX8 Metra Double DIN conversion kit.

 

Remove the Metra kit, re check everything, check all of your fuses and re install.. Come back and fill us in on the outcome.

 

I had a similar problem, check the 2 connectors that specifically control the hvac.
