Tein H Tech on stock shocks?
Tein H Tech on stock shocks?
For some reason with my stock wheels the stock ride height never bothered me, but now that I'm running 18x8.5 +35mm offset wheels, it sits way too high.
My problem is the area I live in has neighborhoods with high curbs and shopping centers with speed bumps I don't want my front bumper scraping on all the time. So with that in mind I was thinking of going with Tein's H Tech springs because the S Techs might be too low.
Since the advertised spring rate on the H Tech's is not that much more than stock springs can you run stock shocks?

Yes you can. I ran H techs for a year on stock shocks with no ill effects. Comfy ride and subtle drop. I'd say one of the better springs for the money. Spring rates are close to stock and they give a little over an inch drop in front and almost half an inch in the rear.
