Recaro Seats and Airbag light

Hey guys so long story short the previous owner of my car put sparco seats and sold off the recaro seats which lead to the airbag light constantly being on. A few months ago, I replaced the sparco seats with the original Recaro seats that came with the car. However after close observation of the seats I could not any connectors on the seats for the airbags. Due to this I used a resistor to trick the car as suggested by other threads on this forum however, it did not work.

Just the other day however I was cleaning the car and noticed that when I unzipped the back of the seats that there is a two piece wire that has been snipped. Would this wire be the missing airbag connector? Would lengthening the wires and re-attaching the wires to the connector in the car shut the light off? Can I use any type of wire to lengthen the wire? Is there any risk of the air bags going off if I do this wrong? Any help is appreciated

Thanks
Alex

I would be inclined to study the wiring diagram before you go connecting anything without a plug. Follow the link below, it may help you.
