Hey Everyone, So Im a huge fan of Iron-Man, and of course my 8 as well. I was just wondering what your opinions would be on having a Iron-Man themed 8? And If you have any thoughts, how would you have it styled? Maybe having a dark red 8 with a gold pearlessence done, along with Blue LED's? What do you all think?

It could work if done well, but it has a tremedous potential to turn out rather aweful. I recommend lots of photoshopping tests.

 

Oh I know, I tried using MS paint to sketch something up... and I'd rather not discuss how bad that went, but I happen to know a very talented artist, I'll see if they could sketch something up and I'd be glad to post it for opinions.

 

A copper red rx-8 would probably be a good starting point. I think gold wheels would look alright, don't know about adding much more gold than that. Maybe try gold plastidip so it is removable.

 

A couple friends call my car the ironman car simply because it is red with gold wheels. Wasn't my goal but it works I guess. A little bit goes a long way.

 

Wouldn't you also need that little robot to squirt you with a fire extinguisher whenever something went wrong?

Haha wow!! The audi is good but the other... I feel bad for that car. Well my 8 is titanium right now, with some parts blacked out, maybe I should just try more of a "War Machine" style right? Thanks for the replys though, it's nice to have the opinions from the rotary community

 

I was going to do The Expendables theme but decided against it.
I just don't think the end results wud have turned out like I planned.
Think hard, do some photoshopping and get a good jist of what it will look like in real rather than a mental picture.

i'm gonna have to say it won't turn out well either.

the lines on just about any car(8 included) just won't work well with a red/gold theme. black and silver(war machine), maybe.

 

Yeah i gotta agree here, that sounds like a recipe for a major disaster haha! Let's see some pics of your car and maybe some ideas on what you like!

 

If the car was copper red some modest gold wheels or painted stock wheels and gold strakes might give the desired affect.

Since I have a copper red 8, I might try it out later this summer if I can find a spare set of wheels and the right shade of gold.

 

Themed cars rarely end well , keep it clean is the best look you can give it!
