Help!!!!! (stall at idle)

This is the 2nd time this week!!!my 8 just kills off at red light when I'm at complete stop!!but starts right back up!is this what a misfire is???what is the cause of this?!

second, we need more information about your car: year, age, mileage, last maintenance date, age of spark plugs, age of coils.

It would also be useful if you said whether any warning lights - like the Check Engine Light - came on. If the CEL came on, the first response to you would be to get the code read.

OK its a 2006 automatic 101600 miles on it had new spark plugs and fuel pump put in around 90000 also had a carbon clean done. had it serviced at the Mazda dealership 4 oil change bout a month and a half ago!!!no warning lights came on.

Had the same issue 3 years ago, cured mine with seaform.
Since then i've been seaform once per every 2 years.
Same issue has never come back.

And, worst case low compression.

I luv my 8 but God dam there a bitch sometimes!!!!I had a Mazda 6 for 5 years ran like a champ never one problem can't say the same for my 8!!:/

Sounds like you need a compression test. As for the 8 problem it's all in how it was taken care of both before and during your owner ship I've had my 04 for 3 years and no major issues I put 2 cycle oil in and JASO I think it is rated all you have to do is search. all the answers are here and if not some one can point you the right way. Side note I even had a groundhog in my engine bay so if you ever start your 8 and sounds and feels like a washing machine out of balance you got a gourd hog in your engine bay.
