Howdy guys,

i got my 2005 Black Cherry Shinka in September with just over 81k on her. after some trouble figuring out how to put it in reverse, i was able to make my way back to my house from Austin, where i had purchased the car. since then i've spent probalbe more time on this forum than is healthy, and have learned a ton. just using the info from rx8club, i've saved somewhere between $800-1200 in repair costs and diagnostics. ive changed out plugs, did my first oil change, and some other small miscellaneous things.

i finally decided to introduce myself today after something happened earlier that made me feel awesome. my car is by no means clean today (round trip to Mobile that was about 1400 miles) but i got eye-mugged by a guy in his brand new Tesla today at a stop sign, and that made me feel pretty darn good.
