Leads (Plug wires)

Is it worth changing the oem leads into aftermarket ones? I have stock...with aftermarket intake and exhaust /midpipe.

I would change the lead and trailing spark plug wires. Check out BHR.

I think OP is using the term "leads" in the same way as wires. Some also use the term "cables".
