Might be a stupid question but what is the measurement of the bump stops after they are cut for aftermarket suspension.

My setup is koni yellows with tanabe springs. I ordered new bump stops but apparently they are a bigger than the ones I removed. I need to cut them but I need a measurement. Thanks

 

Well, if it's anything to go by, I recently fitted some Racing Beat springs and their instructions say to trim the front bump stops by 1" and the rear by 1.75". That's for factory bump stops that are about 2" front and 3" rear. So, basically cutting them down by half. I don't know whether this would apply exactly to use with other spring/shock combos.

I actually didn't end up needing to trim mine anyway, as the Bilstein shocks I was fitting at the same time came with smaller bump stops.
