All the more reason to go DarkSide....
I had no idea you were topgear...
And, both were beautiful, on the track and off... Sorry I did not get over more. A little too much transmission drama.
Not sure how I missed the photo shoot, when was that?

Thanks Mike! We did the shoot Sunday afternoon right before we packed up and left, we were pretty much the last ones at the track besides the woman in her Mini.
Hope everything fixed itself with the transmission! Great meeting you down there!

It seemed to be all heat related. With the car doing double duty and rides, It was on the track around 4 ours each day. I usually run the fans on low to keep the engine cool, but because it was cold, did not. The apparent added benefit of the fans on is that it flushes air out over the transmission. Without them, the cat heat soaks the transmission. Running the car for a few minutes before and after each session, when it is cool enough that the fans do not run, only makes it worse.
At least we got Sami out on track. I felt bad. My goal was to get her out in a run group with you so she could watch you fly by. But that did not work. She did have a big smile after the runs though, that has to count for something.
Car made it all the way home all gears are happy. Reverse was the last holdout. Might have a bit of damage there, or just more burned oil. Not sure how hot the synchro would be if they hit reverse at 100 on the straight. They did hit 3rd at the "4". Engine is still in car though.
Fluid was kind of a burned black color for trans, a normal brown for diff. UPS should deliver a gallon of each in the next few hours.
Coming back in May? Tell Sami I expect her in the classroom. That is a great track for the 8. I have no problem with her driving your car....

I'm just running a Progress Tech front bar and the OEM rear. 560lb front and 400lb rear springs paired with the Moton's is what is really keeping the car from having much roll.
And i'm not sure yet about May, i'd like too, but that is right in the middle of the national autocross tour and i'm usually racing in either Arkansas or Ohio that weekend.

I was afraid of that. Those springs would cost me a kidney on a daily driver. Going to mess with rubbers for track use. The ones I have are not tight enough for the track.
I am on a slippery slope regarding track vs. DD. Best option is likely to just adjust the sways.
Thanks.
