hey guys i know the general rule is to avoid fiberglass when it comes to bodykits, but i found a local deal on a mazdaspeed replica + skirts for $50 and i got it for $25. Although i not a fan of fiberglass i figured for $25 its a pretty good deal, it does need some work and some places will need to be refiberglassed but hey im willing to do it.

another reason i bought this kit was so it would hold me over till i choose which kit i really want, until then i figured i might as well learn some bodywork skills, in case i need to fix something in the future, or so when i do get my real kit i can do the bodywork on it without screwing up an expensive kit.

Also the paintshops around here are expensive so i plan on painting this bumper myself and ill see how it turns out.

i'll keep you guys updated with pics on how everything goes, its my first time ever doing this kind of stuff so it might take a while but we'll see how it all goes

Lmao there are people on here who have gambled way more, and squandered away way way way more money. For $25 and something you dont have to live with if it doesnt turn out the way you want, sounds like a deal, have fun!

I'd have to agree. It looks pretty beat up from the pictures. If it's really not and can easily be repaired, or even better just painted, great! If not and it looks like crap, hey it's only $25.

All I can say is if you're gonna get it painted and put on your car, don't settle for anything less than perfect. Good body kits are not cheap, and the cheap ones aren't worth painting and putting on your car. Always remember, you get what you pay for.

 

For 25 bucks yoou can take it out back with some black powder if it sucks!
